I've been a little under the weather the last couple of months or so.So,blog posts have taken a back burner. Now that I'm back,I will be
reviewing alot more doggie products.
It helps that I finally purchased a camcorder/digital camera.

Taking photos and video
just got soo easy for me.Gracie made her annual Vet visit.I take her to the SPCA where I adopted her.Which, personally is not my first choice. But anyone who has a dog or cat for that matter, knows
how expensive vet bills can be.Although the fees at the local SPCA are very reasonable,I felt like the vet was pushing this flea/heartworm medication on me a little too aggressively.I had Gracie
tested for heartworms, and when she came back negative I of course wanted to start her on preventive medication.I'm pretty through in my care of Gracie.I check her at least every other day for
fleas, ticks, scrathes ect.Gracie has never had a flea.I have given her the flea medication since she was of age.I admit I do not buy the pills, but,I do buy the liquid repellent and administer it on
the same day every month.I have had dogs all my life,so I'm pretty sure I know what a flea looks like.I was not impressed with the SPCA vet.He assured me that all dogs have fleas, even if I have
never seen one,he knew what he was talking about,he was a vet right? He kept pushing this medication on me,saying basically that if I really loved my dog, this was the only medication I should
buy. What a load of crap.I know my dog,I live with her 24/7.I am not stupid and I resent being talked to like I am.He also told me that the rep for this medication had been to the clinic two weeks
before. Now it was making sense.KICKBACK.The SPCA clinic is most likely getting some sort of kickback for every package sold.Another thing that really bother me,he really did'nt exam Gracie as well
as he should have.I spent 160.00 at this visit, which in itself is reasonable. But,I think for Gracie next vet visit I am going to ask for one of the other vets.I love my girl, that's why she gets
check ups. Some people cannot afford even the yearly visit,I myself had to save for a couple of months. It does not mean that people who cannot afford a vet visit love their pet any less.People are
spending big money on their pets now days.I would hope that every town has access to low cost vet services. There is nothing sadder than losing your dog/cat because you were unable to afford the vet
bill.
